Trans Alpine Refrigeration was Owen's main carrier to Ch Ch. I got it fresh from the machine when hand loading pallets in containers YUM Then had the privilege to transport it through the Lewis to ChCh twice a week

I have a steel trunk with Ussc on it.. havnt managed to find any info on them, only the ship it came off- ss hauroto.. back in 1880s.. was used to transport people and cargo between nz and Au.

It's hard to believe we don't have an ice cream and cheese retail store at Westland Milk Products. We could have something like they have at Kapiti, the Kapiti Cheese and ice cream shop, it would attract bus loads of tourists when I was living up there. Snowflake ice cream was the best!…
