The building next door has had an interesting life.
I remember my Mum (Irene Bartlett) telling me it had been a dance hall. I remember it as Reefton Picture Theatre.
I worked in that building when Lane Walker Rudkin had it as their factory.

What memories, I just went to the pictures on Saturdays, at 2. p.m. 9pencies a seat for the first 3 rows and 1 shilling there back a little upstairs. Of course, we always sat in the first 3 rows so we had more to spend at the shop in the theatre if my memory is correct Frank Hoy was the caretaker. half time there was usually a wedding on at one of the churches so off we would go, then as I got older I was allowed to go to Friday night pictures best theatre. good old days.
