Jenny Caldwell I don't know if a 15yr old refers to being in the bar, but it was near enough for many Coast publicans. I went into the Mawheraiti pub and ordered a soft drink of some sort. Sailer Hill told I was big enough to drink beer. My brother-in-law was shorter than me but over the age of 21. He told said I was only 16. The response "well he is certainly big enough to drink beer" It was some years before I acquired the taste
