Rachel Anderson-Smith Thnx for sharing, I bought my share of 1 cent lollies there. Next door the Post Office where they withheld a Christmas parcel for my mum for months because it was addressed to her maiden name. Oh and can't forget the rocket!
David Lindsay Oh yeah the post office! There's also no longer the hall where we watched movies. ..or the pool. ..or the fish and chip shop. ..the tennis courts are still there. .but abandoned!
Rachel Anderson-Smith Goodness the hall is a loss, so many rousing debates held there not to mention Jazzercise classes. Really need to visit.

Michelle Clarkson tennis courts were used but in the last wind our squash courts got destroyed. School going ahead still although roll has dropped significantly

Pam Englefield Used to do my shopping there. Monday bread was delivered to homes with a newsletter. That was 1966. Milk was delivered by Anna Lucas and one put out the milk billy. No bottles required. thick cream on top.

Gillian Jones Oh wow! My 2 big memories of this general store are when I was run over at about 2 years old by Margaret Houston and at 15 yrs while learning to drive crashing through the front entrance with Shelly Bennetts car!!!

Thank goodness for hand breaks. Colleen Blackburn told mum she had some underwear for her to wash as she was behind the counter when the post came flying through the window Megan Wilson Our mum sent me down to the shop to get a loaf of bread, I came hone with sanitary pads. Both items were displayed in brown paper bags. Lol.

Carol Jones It was a thriving town in those days with 2 mills, forest service, ministry of works & farming. Lots of memories from my time living there in the 70's.

Marcia Martini When we lived in Hari Hari It was our buisy local grocery store in 1968 it was still owned by the kindly Mr Rowley. Glenis Berry worked behind the counter for awhile as did many local farmers daughters. Wilsons extended the haberdashery. P.O right next door ran by Debbie Christenson
