Pauline Schafer I would have been the late 50's early 60s Robert, because I was born in 55 and I can remember going across it to the Taylorville shop as a kid.

Dreamtours Nz Laurence , I thought you would have been on one of those trips, it was very narrow and you could make it swing, my memory of the creek is that it was only 3-4 feet deep

Heather Newby Dad took us over it when we were little kids. He used to walk across it daily to go to work in the Wallsend mine. He was staying at a boarding house in Taylorville .
