Carolyn Luck My Great Grandparents Emily and Clement Parfitt were very well respected residents of No Town for many years. Parfitt's Grocery Store at No Town they also had stores at other areas in the district. Clement was also a Gold Buyer, Emily often acted as both Doctor and Dentist to many families. Emily transported the Gold in the hem of her skirt, riding side saddle to Kamaka and then onto the Bank in Greymouth. They had 10 children, 9 boys and my Grandmother the only girl, when my Grandmother was born the children of No Town School had a half day holiday as Mrs Parfitt had a girl after having all sons!!

Suzanne Mcgeady Where Kens Dad, Les. went to school. He grew up in Notown.
