DescriptionPaul Thomas... Actually there is a B class railway house back on site now. The Reefton Historic Trust Board, shifted a B class house located at Mawheraiti to the Reefton Railway precinct as a step towards re-establishing the railway village. It has been completely restored and shortly will be available for visitor accommodation. The original B class railway building depicted in this image, the 1st house on the northern or right hand side of the station is located on the corner of Sinnamon and Cavell Streets, Reefton. It now has an attached wing, which I added, but which reflects the architectural form of the house.Date of PhotoBetween 1st January 1970 and 31st December 1979Map^[1]
