Karl Nelson Kerrie Lee remember the story your Uncle told about trying to get the phone line through the gorge? Puting it through a willow tree and while he was up it, one of the big aftershocks shook the tree loose and he and it slid down towards the river.

Kerry Keating My brother Neil was with the phone lines crew in the stricken area. One day he was in the chopper getting great shots on the camera. He left the camera on board that night. He was meant to be on it the next day but he was assigned another job. The chopper crashed that day. His camera somehow survived.
