DescriptionHeisler 1450 of 1922 - a logging loco in typical condition with oil drum, timber jacks and anything else likely to be useful carried on the front. Air leaks round the smokebox door have been filled with mud/asbestos. Photographed on 23rd September 1956 at the Gladstone mill of W. T. Ogilvie & Son Ltd. Later sold to the New Forest Sawmilling Company at Ngahere where it last worked on 23rd March 1968. Transported to the Fairymead Museum on 5th October 1968.PhotographerB. D.
