Ian Murch I lived just down the road.I remember when it caught fire There was quite alot of people there that night and all had to move to let the night cart get past It was in the 1930s

Jennifer Gaskell I lived in Paroa Rd, my Dad was on the Railway, never went to the Aussie before I got married, Barbara I worked at Grey Hospital in the wards when I was still at school in the holidays, remember Mrs Searle very well.

Bill Garth It the Marist Rugby Pub. There were 6 showers in a changing room out the back. A boiler heat
ed the water. If we won the losers had to visit us. The publican loved that.

Sonia Dando Only ever been in there once met some friends there when in Greymouth on a visit from Perth Australia that was way back in the 70s always remember it as a kid as Mum and dad use to drink there

Brian Gus Heveldt The Australasian or Aussie as we called it has been the watering hole for The Greymouth Marist Rugby Club for many many Years.We have seen Many Great Publicans come and Go like Gavin Arnott,Mike Casserley.Max Brenner,Mike Odonavan and many others.In my view Mike and Donna Casserley would have to be at the top of the Tree.
If only the walls could talk,there has been some huge History come and Gone in that Pub.
