Derelict hut, Arahura

DescriptionAnother derelict hut. This one is still standing on the TR of the Arahura River adjacent the cycle trail section between the river and Cowboy Paradise. I've been told it was a possumers hut belonging to Alex Wallace and dates from the 1930's or perhaps the late 20's.-- Glenn Johnson
Smaller pic: On the other side of the Arahura but upstream a few km are the remains of another possumers hut. This one is now largely buried in shingle. It was known as Bark Hut and belonged to Ab Singer.Map^[1]ContributorGlenn Johnston
