About this image
DescriptionThis place in Greymouth has always been intriguing ever since I was a kid. Seems like a big place. Looks like mother nature's slowly claiming it. Does anyone know the story behind it? When built and who for? - Colin WatermanDate of PhotoBetween 1st January 2016 and 31st December 2016Map[1] ContributorColin Waterman

Roseanne Winstanley
Roseanne Winstanley Was the Old Guerin homestead, to the left of this were the McCanns, then the Greaney's homestead. Old Jack Guerin used to look after the St Columba Hall. I have gone up that track many times to get cows milk from there on a Sunday evening. I lived nearly opposite 50s, 60s and early 70s.

Roseanne Winstanley Great story. From my childhood memories, Pascoes lived on the corner, then Captain and Mrs Rutter (Cnr Chapel and Alxander Tce). On the next corner down (where Erin Botica and husband lived ) there was a Mr and Mrs Bishop. Do you remember these names?
