I had an uncle Bob McMillan in Hari Hari. His wife was my dad's sister. Sold farm & bought Yaldhurst hotel. Same one?

Robert McMillan
Sarah Penrose No, not the same Bob (but related) - Robert a very common name in our family. The McMillans in the photo above are children of Robert (yes another one) McMillan who (before he died) was Building Insp. in Hoki. Your Bob was a son of one of Robert's younger brothers (George / Geordie) who was a builder in Hoki (part of partnership that built Rentons) and later bought a farm in Hari Hari. Your Bob was also my uncle and did marry Edith (Edie) Wall who lived to 100 and died in 2011 and she was a fantastic lady. I have written their story for our family website but if you wanted a copy pm me and I might be able to attach it.
