Claire Ward - No, it was where the entrance to the old dump was - just on that corner bend.

Arthur Bass - Forsyth and Masters had a magazine over Soldiers somewhere but can't for the life of me think where?
John Rosanowski - I Recall going with Gordon Mannering the Soldiers Rd to do some gold panning, and passing what people said was a magazine on the left, perhaps only a couple of hundred metres past the turn-off to Wood's house (Topp's today.) It was a squat square emplacement perhaps only a metre or so high. Thought at the time it seemed very small for its purpose.
Bruce Baxter - The magazine was on the right over soldiers where the road went in to where Ellis Harris lived. A corrugated iron shed painted red. In later years there was another one out at stony batter just past where Burkes creek mine was.
David Robertson - That's correct Bruce. I went there a few times with Dinny, my father in Doug Reids truck to get boxes and deliver to Forsyth and Masters. It was one building inside another with double doors, very big padlocks, one behind the other.
Barbara Loughnan - Yes Bruce, the magazine was right near the entrance road to the Loughnan homestead later occupied by Ellis, it was there as long as I can remember.
Jenny Caldwell - And that could be quite a lengthy time eh Cuz? Blue.
