DescriptionIt was a glorious summers day for this enjoyable garden party.

William Dunn built this villa in 1892, then sold it to Consolidated Goldfields who used it as a staff house.

Frank Robinson, who was Secretary/Accountant of Consolidated Goldfields, lived here from 1914 to 1923.

For me the highlight was having 3 of Frank Robinson's grandchildren, (Jill Hiam, Barbara Anderson and Geoff Schaffer), who come all the way from Australia to attend. It was wonderful talking to them as they has so much information on their Grandfather, Frank, & the villa.

Frank, his wife Lottie, & his children moved to Australia after being offered a job with the State Electricity Commission.

William Dunn, a carpenter, not only built this villa, he also built, the Court House, the original Hospital, St. Stephen's Anglican Church, the County Chambers, Dr. Conlon's house, & many more.
