DescriptionWith great sadness I report the passing of Roger Bailey. Roger and his family lived next door to us at 31 Marsden Rd in the 1950s. Roger ("Bail") and I were inseparable friends with many shared interests.. We were in the Greymouth scouts together, then the Air Training Corps. We spent our weekends cycling to favourite haunts such as Marsden, the Greymouth wharf, and the Blaketown tip head. Roger died in Tauranga Hospital on Saturday night after a long battle with cancer. Miles Reay I'm not sure Kerry. I think Roger left school at the end of 1957. He worked in Greymouth for a short time in 1958, then was transferred to Wellington.

Kerry Keating Probably not then, thanks Miles. The "58" unit was the best. We held all the major nation wide trophy's in the same year. To my knowledge, the only unit to do it.

Did he have any younger brothers or sisters? Isobel Baillie was in my class at GHS.
