Have never forgotten a photo of an elderly lady running beside a train waving her handkerchief at her son in the carriage as the train was leaving. Running. And she was dressed just like this lady. It may have been the last time they saw each other. He may have been killed in the war, or she may have died before he came home. It really tugged at my heart strings. I'd loved to have known if he survived, and was reunited with his Mother.
