AddBy: Peter McLean21st Mar 2019 6:03PMGreat photo. I showed it to my mum, Laurel McLean (nee Williams - Fred & Daisy Williams' daughter) who is aged 89 and she remembers the house (Fred Williams' house next to church). She lived there until about 6 years old before her parents sold it and moved to 1 Elizabeth St, Greymouth. Fred was originally a butcher before working in the mine waybridge office and eventually was mayor of Brunnerton. Fred's father William Williams and wife Sarah lived across the river in Tailorville Mum recalls.
By: Susan Minot30th Mar 2017 11:14PMMy father (Alexander Fry) was from Wallsend. He lived here with his father Sidney Fry, and Nellie (his mother) and three sisters, in the 1920s and 30s Does anyone remember the Fry family?
