DescriptionThis photo is about 1927 and is of my g-grandfather Andrew (Andy) Yuill Bell. For many years he worked as a Carpenter for Ogilvie's at Gladstone. Andrew was involved in the project to build removable houses.
He was tragically killed there in 1928 when he walked from between two stacks of timber, on the skids in the Yard, out into the path of the Yard Lokey. He was partly deaf and couldn't have heard the Lokey coming.Date of Photo1927Map^[1]Contributor Geoffrey Bell
