About this image
DescriptionMy Dad Philip Smith Passed away last night in Greymouth. There are many trees and shrubs throughout the West Coast that came from the family Nursery at South Beach (now Karoro) . My dad traveled the length of the coast regularly with a load of plants selling them door to door Once the Nursery closed he and my mother Jennifer built Oceanview Motels in Fernhill Place Karoro. They closed these down and sold them off but still lived at the end of Fernhill Place until last year when they moved into town.Map[1] ContributorChristine Smith
