Bob Jamieson Yes, Mums cousin Jimmy Hambly worked there.

Bob Jamieson vege shop opp. co-op was Rubbo's (?) one on opp. corner was Mrs. Sutherlands(?) next one down Freemans. Could be wrong.
Bill Johnsen there was the shop opp grocery Phil...was shoe repairs ..Smith's ? maybe Sadlers at some point...was Mrs Moffits book shop too...Phillip

Lyn Moe Yes Ron Smith his wife took all the kids for dancing. Opposite Bootes.

Marilyn Grady Sadlers Drapery was next to the dairy on the corner, opposite the Miners Hall.

Time has changed memories. Corner of Mill Street. My memories are late 40's early 50's.

Behind the catholic school where you have ? was school of mines, and opposite post office on the corner was coop bakery.

I was going to do a now map but the only facilities to go on it would be the School and the Dairy on McGowan st and the Shop on main road.Well done Phillip,lot of memories brought back.

To the right of t he Post Office, other side of the road was the Coal bins where Joe Devine used to load the miners home delivery. Two ton a time we ith a half way divider, if you got the first load half the second load spilled over. 12 ton a year per miner, 4 ton retired miners

Mrs Pollocks think that was the dairy where there were beautiful boxes of chocolate on the shelf behind the counter, and the co op with licorice straps on their wooden counter top, Mr Hunter worked out back and had the coal stove cranked up. Memories
