DescriptionGaynor Jones.. I worked on Sullivans farm for a short stint, used to sweep out dougs woodwork shop in 2001. have flown up that valley too, most of the grassland has gone due to the river. i bet the grazing held the land in place!i even got to live in lucy and seddons old home, my son thought he heard Seddons old horse clopping.

Hunted here in 1970 and again in 1973; it's a long walk in, old Hunters Hut was a slab job (below photo taken during the January 1973 trip), full of mice, but had a good hot fireplace and was infinitely better than being in a tent in heavy Westland rain. Fording Hendes Creek was usually a trial.

yip i used to get the ok from the old boy Adamson to possum trap on his lease run .think he was mid 80s then an rode a huge horse too.i liked him .i found him a gd sort to talk to as well
