Delwyn Hughes I’m not sure of the frozen foods weren’t incorporated with the meat tavern. I can remember on Friday nights when I was home, I would help Mum carry the meat from the meat tavern to home, and sometimes there were frozen trays in it.

Where the white van is in Albert St there was once, Long's Chinese laundry. Harry Long was a great friend of my dad Jimmy Morgan who drove McGlashan's bus to Cobden. I used to go to the laundry to pick up my Dad' starched collars, 1935 as I remember.Graeme Bone

My Nana and Grandad used to own The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel.
Such a shame it was painted and turned into a Hostel.
Sadly the street has lost its appeal.

So many memories there. I always remember the pharmacy being the first place in Greymouth to have automatic doors. I was fascinated as a little kid ?. Looking forward to go for a little stroll through the town in February to see all the changes.
Pretty lucky to have grown up on the coast.
