Peter RobertsonI agree that the Clarke was still being finished in March 1960-we had to go through the riverbed to go round it,but ahead does not look like the Landsborough and that rip in the hill looks like around the Thomas,but you are likely right? Thanks David.

Karen McTaggart I know that road or identical. Dad used to get raging drunk on Friday nights and decide we'd move back to the West Coast at 12am so off we'd pile in the Consule Mark 1, Dad dressed like Elvis, with the cat, my sister and mum with a torch to walk ahead to guide us when the fog came down. It really sticks in my mind!

I remember those edge of cliff pull over bays looking straight down the mt. We learnt to drive on the edge.
