Jenny Caldwell - Spent some time there; and the old one, as a kid. Dr Heaphy and Wicken. In the old hospital there was no children's ward so I was looked after by Mrs Anderson,(Buck's mum) Maggie Topp and others. spent 6 weeks which is a long time when you are about 7-8. Went back 10 years later for second bout of appendix and operated by Dr Wicken who did the first, and Ash Heaphy. Boy did he had strong fingers when he pushed and prodded. Myron.

Ruth Galloway - Dorothy's house was used as the Creche for the part time Registered Nurses children when I worked there. Mrs Harrington who was a midwife lived there for awhile when I first started working there in 1972.
