Brian Loughnan - It brings back good memories as it was my first job I had after leaving school. I worked in the Criterion theatre till it closed down after 7 months. After that I spent 15 years showing the movies at the other Picture Theatre at the Corner of Smith & Shiel St.

yes it was1/6 to get in and 6p for pop corn if I remember there use to be a serial and you had to go every Saturday also there was a documentary called LOOK AT LIFE made in britain
