LinkFacebookDate Created29th January 2018CommentsMary Reynolds My father John McRae Wilson was wrecked on the Grey bar in the Kaponga in 1932. No loss of life that I know of. They were brought a shore by breeches buoy.

George Gardner Mary, I can remember seeing the boiler of the Kaponga at the 'little beach' just inside of the Cobden Tip all of those years ago.

Diane Jackson My Grandfather,Alan Rawlins, was a Merchant Seaman. He married Maven Beck( Becks Grocer) and her albums are full of Maritime related photos.
