Karen Potter Yes he was , he was injured and died in 1983 in Perth from a vehicle accident while taking horses to the Bunbury races. At that stage he had been a trainer in Melbourne then in Perth.

Hi Lynn-Marie. My mum Joan Batty was bought up with your Nana, we called her Auntie Iris. We visited her alot in Cobden. Your mum Colleen and my mum were close friends. Loved your parents, Colleen and Evan. Mum was so excited to see Neil in his "Sailor Suit" on the royal yacht Britannica when the Queen visited Lyttleton many years ago.
