Date Created14th September 2018CommentsDon Hutton Great photo. Clive Barker also played rugby union. Leo Ward was stalwart member of the Greymouth Amateur Athletic Club. Noel Harris went into newspaper work and was a flatmate in Christchurch in the 1960s. Malcolm Neville also played rugby union I think. Good half back.

Lyn Moe Don Hutton, I remember playing at Wellington and Noel Messenger was there I think he was with Watersides team, might be wrong but there are enough Messengers on site to put me right.

Don Hutton Noel Harris was a Cobden boy. Worked for the Greymouth Evening Star then The Press. He was a keen union man. I wasn't aware that he played league until I saw this photo. His sister Valerie aka "Chick" was in my class at GTHS. I didn't know Noel Messenger as I was only 12 in 1950. But all the faces of the boys are familiar.

Lyn Moe I was born that year Don Hutton.
