DescriptionThis rare print shows the Little Nile ferry steamer anchored to the bank, the original bridge was washed away in a big flood during the gold boom days, so until the new suspension bridge was built this little ferry was the only means of crossing the Nile River, from the little bay called Smalls Beach to the Charleston side of the river.
