Jackie Breach Flo Weir was the post mistress for years
Jackie Breach Have just read in paper that Philip, who I went to Iki school with has died in an motorbike accident. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace Philip.

Ron Taylor Lived in forestry camp Totara flat just down the road, visited ikamatua pub now and again. And bud Ramsay's at the flat
Nana Johnston Ron Taylor Bud & Teresa Ramsay were my Aunt & Uncle. Manys the night I played the piano til half past late in the Heathers ell Hotel at the Flat.

Trevor Wylde I will look around some of Mum's old photos but I was 2 mths off 5 when I left there. All I can remember is climbing the fence to watch Home Guard which my father a WW1 vet was part of training in railway yard.

Nana Johnston I remember when Betty Banñon (Feary) was pòstmisstress. Then my friend Margaret Holden (Gallagher ) & to my knowledge is still living in Greymouth.
Nana Johnston I left the Coast in 1954.

Paul Huffam Nana Johnston Shows that a Post Office is a hub of the community -every body knowsmost people. And the lovely ladies who ran the PO were very fine folk.

Hamish Sinclair that was my first holiday job with you as Postmaster Hamish, delivering Christmas mail when I was 13, with Carrol. Mum had died on 12th Dec so it kept me busy.

Looks better in colour….. in the “ old days” it was a hive of industry. Flo knew all the news and everyone’s name….. etc. post boxes on the side entrance. A little stepping step for those that had to reach a little higher. And Flo kept it Spock and span…….
