DescriptionHi my niece got me thinking tonight Corrina Marie Smith and is doing a search on our family on my mums side as we don't know much but what little info I have hope someone might know or help. ok so my mother is Bernadette Mary Teresa walker - nee LAWSON her mother is Kathleen margaret Lawson -nee SMITH married cecil William Lawson now from what mum told me grandma and her family came from Ireland and they all settled in reefton she said we have family buried there but there so many Smith's . Grandmas parents are William (bill) smith 1869-1943 and Mary coll (1873-1930) they married at Charleston near Reefton on the 11th Feb 1897 and that's all I really know so does anyone know of them or may be related in some way I was brought up.on the coast Westport and never did go to reefton for a nosy at the cemetery but if I did I wouldn't have a clue if they related or not I'm still trying to find out where my great grandparent bill and Mary are buried I only know were my grandparents Kathleen and cecil they are in wellington Karori this is the only photo I have of my grandmother when she was a baby with her brothers and sistersMap^[1]ContributorLaura Dorothy Walker‎
