Alan Messenger - That is second from right, not the boy. And the rider 2nd left is Cliff, not Alby Thomas.
Mary Moffitt - That's definitely Dave Clark third from left on the bike. I thought there could be Jessen, Day, or Sutherland there at that time. Can't pick them though. Remember Eric Maguigan too.

Dave Clark ! What a legend. One time mine host of Wallsend Hotel and drove trucks for Bill Tacon at various times. Worked for myself at various times in Whataroa. Stories from Dave on his early escapades while riding Greymouth to Christchurch then taking part in an event while there, then ride back to the Coast on a shingle road, he would have us in hysterics.
