Susan Turland I remember a elderly lady living in it out the back about 35 years ago. A lady called May. As a child I befriended her and always wondered what happened to her. Wasn’t very nice condition then. Looked very much like this.

Ellen Te Aho Bill and Mrs Hunt were always very kind to us Parish kids. Remember the little bags of lollies, broken biscuits and bananas.

of broken biscuits from there. Looked way better back in the 60’s

Margaret Kaa Often had Sunday lunch with aunty Clenda and uncle Bill at the shop. They lived out the back and it was certainly well looked after when we were there in the 50's and 60's. Often helped uncle Bill bag up groceries and count eggs into brown paper bags. They had an amazing garden out the back with a big quince tree. Mum used to make quince and apple jelly with the fruit.
