My first year was at Ruru school and had to catch the bus from Kaimata, so being able to walk to school from what is now the Stationhouse Cafe was big bonus.

Shirley Share-Bun Hi everyone, the children at Lake Brunner School are looking at local history this term and we want to interview and record a bunch of people to capture their stories and recollections from the area, whether it be 10, 20, 50 or more years ago. With these, we're planning on making a local history website to launch at our 60th Year Celebration Gala Day on Canterbury Anniversary Day - 15 November.
