Stephanie Keen Can anyone tell me the name of Dolly's parents so that I can work out how she fits into my family tree. Thanks.

Ron Hibbs Dolly was my aunt, she was my fathers sister. Her parents were Alice and Arthur Hibbs. The house was my great grandmothers ( who I never knew) my grandmother Alice divorced my grandfather and married twice more. Her husbands names were Rouse and Goulding. Alice lived to about 93 and died in 1976, she is buried with her parents at Karoro cemetery. My grandfather Arthur is also buried at Karoro, with his eldest son who was accidentally killed at about the age of 11.

Jean Boniface Ron Hibbs - you a ball of knowledge. Never knew Aunty Dolly's name was Alice too.

Geoffrey Bell I remember Mick and Dolly Johnson. Dolly used to place Euchre with my parents in the Camerons Hall. They had a yummy quince tree behind their house. Great jam. We lived at 991 Main South Road. Colour corrected in the photo.

Linda King My Mum Bub Kelly was good friends with Dolly. They use to go for a bike ride after tea and always pushed their bike back. Lots of laughter. Dolly and Micks grand children went to Cameron's school for a while. Diane and I were great friends. Great memories of them both.

Elaine Rainey Our family lived next door to Dolly and Mick for years. Remember them both really well. My mum was Shirley Holmes née Hibbs. Her father was Joe Hibbs..We are related somehow to Dolly through Joes brother. Can anyone enlighten me further. I remember Alice getting around Camerons.

Linda King Carole Williams I remember Mrs Maher made a lot of the 21st cakes and wedding cakes for most of the people in Camerons and Gladstone and Mum iced them. Wish I had some photos. I remember watching her ice them.

Pam Eddy Mrs Maher made my wedding cake 50 years ago still remember how beautiful it was .Bill Maher taught me at school .Great memories of school and swimming in the Cameron's school pool with the brown water and the frogs often swimming in with us

Jean Southward Frank and Daphne Simpson lived there once they retired from high street until both them passed 2001

Rau Te Para I lived there for a time. Such and amazing orchard and garden and eels galore up at new river never went hungry there.
