Several Hibbs boys moved up to the West Coast around 1900 which included John William Hibbs, Arthur Edwin Hibbs, Thomas Hibbs, and Francis Henry Hibbs and they all were involved in the sawmilling and farming industries until their deaths.

A few inconsistencies my fathers name was Tom not Thomas, there was another Thomas Hibbs who also lived at Cameron’s and my Dad’s 50th birthday was at the Hotel Westland in Hokitika in 1966, I can see a very young me in the picture.
