Vincent Knapp: Mawhera must have been having work done its berthed wrong side of foot bridge

JohnJeanette Oliver: Plus the Greymouth Laundry building in back ground. Recently demolished.

Vincent Knapp: Lois Walton your dad took Me John Howe and a couple of others i cant remember as his guest over the bar to dump a load many years ago he was the steersman on.

Garry Wick: Used to hear this monster groaning from Dobson at night working the tides.

Lois Walton; The cursing from all the mothers who had white washing on the clothesline, only to be covered in black smoke spats when it was fired up.

Sandra Geddes Used to do a great job on bar,could hear it clanging away!

Sonia Dando Dad use to go on it to Wellington if I remember to have something done to it
Was great he was away for maybe a week we all had a ball us kids.
