Maye Dunn: That sounds like it Laura. It is a pretty good turnout and it is near the port. I'll transfer the photo to Recollect.

Don Hutton: Wasn't the first Catholic Church somewhere about there? I'm sure this has been discussed in the past.

Marshall Moka: Wow! Arney street wasn't that long either..lived near the gilmer for small stint bak in 1990, was cool house,right next door maybe even..that church could've possibly stood their by the looks of how the wharf is..kinda make out angle view lol..

Linda Hughes: Anyone know how long the second church on that site was there?

Geoffrey Bell: That's in Arney Street.

Mike Minehan: "....found on the north beach..." As children on the Beach Road ( your Dommett Esplanade, Noelene ) we often saw searchers looking for the unfortunate ones we were swept down the Grey. The current usually brought them up North. The seagulls often indicated where they lay.
