Ray Vincent I believe we were related by marriage, uncle married Lena Wilson. (if spelt correct) , was told from Hunts beach.
Doreen Thomson Ray Vincent that is correct that was auntie Lenas second husband the first was Paddy Breslin
Ray Vincent Doreen Thomson thanks, didnt know that. Last saw Lena about 13 years back on the ferry, had been probably near 40 years since i last saw her, was having lunch with father in law having been cleaning up my Parents house after passed, was telling him about my uncle and how he passed young and turned around and there she was, she had no idea who i was until i said. Lena was in Blenheim.
ShonaandMurray Marshall I’m my goodness. That’s Aunty Letty with her ma Ani, and Dad Earnest I think, trying to figure out the boys. Bill, Bert, or Earnie or even Alex? not sure. Love this photo.
Colleen Astwood My goodness I thought it was Letty, as She looks like John, I vaguely remember grandma Wilson when I was really little, she stayed with uncle Billy when we all lived in the mill houses.
ShonaandMurray Marshall Colleen Astwood yep I just remember her being there at Kaniere. Can’t remember much about Ernest tho.
Colleen Astwood did Ernie live at Ikamatua, and I saw where Robert died recently. I remember young Ernie
ShonaandMurray Marshall Colleen Astwood yep he did him and Aunty Jean.
Doreen Thomson On the right I think it is uncle Bert
