Is that Jack Kennedy second from the right? He used to drive Kennedy’s red buses. I last saw him with advanced Alzheimer’s in Granger House ( my mother is there), and he still had that great smile!

Really fine cab drivers. When you took a ride in their cabs you knew you were safe. My daughter got “spiked” in a hotel in Greymouth one night and her friends put her in a cab to send her home….Scotty called me because he knew something was really amiss. Had to go to hospital and thanks to him all was well in the end.

My parents Russell & Yvonne (Bond) worked there late 50s early 60s. We left the Coast in 1965 but they remained friends with Bobby Turnbull until they died 2013 & 2014.
