Date Created8th October 2019CommentsGeoffrey King Eddie Flood he had the Barber shop next to Tymons/ adjacent to Miss Brislanes Books shop who was next to Barney Sutherlands Jewellers, east side of Tainui st across from the ABC Quick lunch and K stores and Stanley Lays fruiterers Mrs Flood use to run the counter from memory 9 pence for a haircut 1 shilling for haircut and packet of juicy fruit..She had the whitest of white hair. Eddie use to put a board on top of the chair arm rests to sit on to bring me up to his height. Father use to have to sell a couple of beers to pay for my haircut
