Arthur Bass In the late 70's someone left the flood flaps on the stormwater pipes to the river. The river came up, backed up the pipes and popped manhole covers. There was a bit of water laying around in the lower end of town then.

Gary Keown Arthur Bass remember that Spence routhan got his loader and damed up the pipes to try and stop the river water flowing down tancred street
