Date Created21st October 2019CommentsVictor Johnson My maternal great grandparents (William & Emma Lowe) resided at Mokihinui for a while on two occasions in the early 1900's.
In the early 1970's when visiting Westport I took my grandmother (Olive Bennett, nee Lowe,) for a drive to the area. She had great delight in explaining the area she experienced as a child, including pointing where she and her siblings went to primary school.
