I found the "South Westland: Looking at the West Coast series" magazine amongst my family history collection, though no idea where i got it. These pics feature some of my relatives: my 2x great aunt Mary Patrick, who married Tom Condon, and her brother Maurice Patrick, who married Catherine Condon. Mary and Maurice were siblings of Eva Frances Patrick, who married James Donovan - my great grandparents. Also i threw in a pic of "old Mick Sullivan" for you Eunice Sullivan and Annie Smith - what a character eh

Caroline Emily Donovan Arthur Dehn yes, he was my great grandfather. My father knew him as a young boy. He was very taciturn but a great supporter of the coast. Do you know something about him?

Arthur Dehn Caroline Emily Donovan Yes I knew Jimmy or Jas donavan very well , as kids we used to buy all our fishing lines and lollies from him.... I wasn't very happy with once on one of our holidays, He offered to take my older brother when he went to deliver supplies with his horse and cart to the 3 mile , said I was too young. !!!!

Arthur Dehn He often rode up the Coast to Hokltlka and Ross , Had to ford all the rivers , and when too deep , had to get off and grab the horses tail and swim..... Those were the days. !!!

I've been researching family history for nearly two years now, and I've recently traced William Patrick's line about 5 generations back. I also have info on Ellen Kelly's parents, Maurice Kelly and Anna Reid, who came out from Ireland and were pioneers in Victoria (Oz).
