My Story

DescriptionFound a story here a few months ago re this property.
The hosue was owned by my Grandparents Johnny and Emily Guerin from I think around the 1920's onwards.
My 3 elder siblings were born in Greymouth but then Mum and Dad moved to Nelson in aorund 1964 just before my sister and I were born.
Dad was a teacher so we spent most of our school holidays in Greymouth staying at this house which I loved as a kid.
My Grandfather passed away in 1981 and in the mid 1980'sthe house was sold.
In 1999 my first wife and I bought the property while I was working in Fiji and we reclad the outside, replaced all the joists and put a new roof on it but sold it again in 2001 when I move to Australia.
The house unfortunately has gone backwards since then but in early September this year I purchased it back and over the next 12-18 months it will be restored to its former glory Date of story events5 Nov 2019
