Me and the Lewis Pass didn't get along in the 50s! Had my head hanging out the window...so so carsick!

Richard Caldwell roads in those days were gravel, rough and corrugated plus very windy and twisty. Car sickness in those days was an every day occurrence. I couldnt even travel from Richmond to Mapua without being Carsick.I praise our modern roads.

Richard Caldwell no, what Lorraine says! Dusty, windy roads. I got better when I could be in the front seat, instead of the back. I grew out of it thank goodness!
