She was considered the smallest child, so got her photo taken with the team. Does anyone have this photo or know of it's whereabouts please. Much appreciated. Lanae.

Merle Hutchison on the swannee whistle, Charlie? Woolhouse on the violin. Jack Innis on the drum. Ron Manley in the accordion.
Les Holmes Germanicus I was at that match at Rugby Park, now called John Sturgeon Park. The score was 12-6 to the Springbox.

John Nancekivell: The Springboks visited Kaniere School, where Woodstock Primary and Kaniere schools were given a signed Rugby ball each, by the team, and all shook our hands, they certainly looked huge to us kids, Also my wife Glenwyns, father, Harvey Jarratt, painted the scenes on the Kokatahi Band's drum, and is still on the drum to this day

Margaret Malloch: Percy Crowe lived next door to my Aunty and uncle in Hoffman street

John Nancekivell: Margaret Malloch Percy certainly did and the Crowes house was over the back fence from Lakins in Jollie St Hokitika

Margaret Malloch: It was. Very handy to have both families so close when we came to visit great times
