DescriptionJane was born 1871 to Denis and Jane Ryall nee Davies.Jane was a school teacher and taught at the Barrytown School. She never married and passed away 1951 and is buried in the Barrytown Cemetery.

Del Godfrey: Thanks Lynette Beirne, I have this photo but it took a while to confirm it was her, note rings on Jane’s fingers, she never married. This photo is a mirror image.

Jimmy Jingles: Ms Ryall exudes dignity, decorum and grandeur in this wonderful portrait photograph that has survived the passage of time.... I can only imagine how lucky the students of Barrytown would have been under Ms Ryall's tutelage and wish I could have met her.......

The Ryalls had a farm , shop and post office past the hotel just near the bridge where I would collect our mail each day on the way home from school.Brian Beban
Dinny Ryall was a friend of my father Artie Jnr. My first horse ride there on the farm at Barrytown and a warm lemonade out of the shop after.
