DescriptionPaul Huffam.."Here’s a couple of photos of the model of the dredge that my late brother Blake made.The model is now in the Hokitika Museum.They are my photos and they were a young man’s snaps (I was 17 then) so the quality is pretty average.

I also helped my brother hold the end of his tape measure when he was clambering round the machine at weekends to measure the various dimensions to enable scaling for his model. A particular challenge for him was making the 72 buckets for the bucket ladder – he found that a bucket could be made from a condensed milk tin!"PhotographerPaul HuffamDate of Photo1957Map^[1]ContributorPaul Huffam
